VILLA Schweizerhof invites you to another special culinary journey in 2026: outstanding winemakers will present their wines in a stylish setting. From spring to winter, each season offers a new opportunity to discover exclusive wines and get to know the winemakers personally. A specially tailored menu accompanies the tastings and makes every evening an unforgettable experience. Reserve your place in good time and immerse yourself in the world of fine wines!

Guest winemaker opening evening

In spring, summer, autumn and winter, a special guest winemaker opening evening is held. A set menu is served and guests have the opportunity to meet the guest winemaker in person.

Programme
On Wednesday, 1 April 2026, the first guest winemaker evening of next year will take place at the VILLA Schweizerhof. Look forward to an enjoyable evening with the charming winemakers from the Domaine Bonnet du Fou winery. The winemaker will be there in person, bringing along exciting stories and fine wines. We will serve you a sophisticated 6-course winter menu that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of culinary delights.

Including aperitif, wine accompaniment, mineral water and coffee.

Vines have been cultivated in Eglisau for over 1,000 years, and the sunny slopes of the Grand Cru site characterise the townscape. Since 2008, I have been pressing high-quality wines here with a great deal of manual labour and respect for nature in order to preserve the natural flavour and give the Grand Cru Eglisau the reputation that this top location deserves.

From career changers to winemakers! Freedom, passion, joy – that's what they wanted to combine. In 2021, they took over cellars in the picturesque wine village of Twann that had been used for winegrowing for generations. This marked the birth of Domaine Bonnet du Fou.
